AN INNOVATIVE TOOL TO PROVIDE THE BEST TRAINING TO YOUR DOCTORS AND TRAINERS

Hi there! I am Arturo Almeida, Global trainer and Medical Consultant for Marllor Biomedical - the manufacturers of Alidya and Aqualyx- and CEO of Baarle Consulting, a UK-based company dedicated to medical training and business consultancy and coaching.

I started my journey with AlidyaⓇ in Spain - where I’m originally from. And immediately fell in love with the product, mainly because my patients loved it. Cellulite, as you know, is a challenging cosmetic problem, and Alidya does provide results to it. I began teaching Alidya to other medical practitioners, first in Spain and then in the UK and in January 2021 I launched the first full online certification for AlidyaⓇ  where I have put all my experience and knowledge to provide the most comprehensive training program available. Since this online training was launched, I have taught numerous medical practitioners in the UK and worldwide. 

And now, thanks to the agreement between Marllor Biomedical s.r.l (Manufacturers of Alidya and Aqualyx) and my Academy, we are super stoked to offer you, the distributor, this EXCLUSIVE program to your trainers. From the comfort of their offices, their clinics, your designated doctors will be able to do the course, without the need to travel or missing a single day in their practices

HOW DOES THE TRAINING WORK?

You, as the distributor, will choose up to 5 medical practitioners to take part on this online training. Ideally, the chosen doctors will become your regional KOLs. Please remember that Alidya is a Class III Medical Device and it should be only used by registered medical practitioners.

Once you have chosen your practitioners we will provide you with a unique link and 5 codes. 

The sign up process is very straightforward. The link provided will take your practitioners to a checkout page, where they will use the code, complete some personal information (needed for certification purposes), and they will be granted access for a limited time to the online platform. To log in, they will use the login details included in the email received after they signed up, and follow the instructions. Very simple!

The training course has 2 parts: theory and practice

The theory part, where they will  have access, in a sequential and organised way, to the different course modules, videos and downloadable resources. So they decide when is the best moment for them, and they will do the course from the comfort of their offices, their house or outdoors.

Once they complete this part, they must take the assessment (including within their “member’s area” AND a brief online questionnaire to provide the feedback about this part. Only then, they will have access to a webpage, where I will explain everything they will need to know to prepare for the online practice, and in particular, how to properly select their models for this practical session.

Please note that your practitioners will only have access to the online platform until the day of the practical session.

The course is structured in several modules, each one of them containing video lessons and downloadable material. In order to progress within the content, delegates must complete one module before jumping to the next one. So I make sure the all the contents are viewed and implemented.

Also the system allows me to control their progress at any given time, so I will be sure that they have completed the entire course. All this system in place is for quality-control purposes

If they have any questions or want to make any comments about this part, they can do using the “comments” section that will be found inside the online platform. Alternatively, they can contact me and my team via a dedicated email address. So they will be all covered!

The practical session,  The date for this online group training will be agreed in advance, and takes place using a secure, encrypted Zoom meeting, so the privacy is assured.

The allocated time for this online group practical session is 3,5 hours, with a 15 to 20 minute break in between. Each one of the delegates will have an average of 30 minutes to do his/her case. Please note that all 5 students will be required to stay for the entire duration of the group training, as they will benefit from the performance of their peers, as well as the discussion of the different questions asked.

During this practical session, I will first deliver a presentation to refresh concepts already learned during the theory part, useful for their practice, as well as the office setup, and then I will be answering some additional questions they may have about Alidya and its technical details. Then each practitioner will do one Alidya case which I will be monitoring, making sure the technique is doing right and/or giving them advice on how to improve the technique to achieve the best results.

Certification

Once the practical session ends, they will receive a link to an online questionnaire for feedback on the practical session, and when completed, they will receive a Certificate of Completion issued by Arturo Almeida Academy and endorsed by Marllor Biomedical s.r.l

DISCLAIMER

Once your designated medical practitioners complete the course, they will become your Key Opinion Leaders or KOLs in your region and may be able to teach Alidya to other medical practitioners as long as they teach Alidya using the same principles taught during the course. 

If any of your trainers - or medical practitioners trained by them - teach or use a different technique,  or decide to use Alidya for areas that have not been approved during this training, neither Marllor Biomedical s.r.l nor myself and my company will be liable for any undesired results or side effects that may arise as a consequence of this.
