Alidya is a Class II Medical Device that has a CE mark, and is registered in almost 65 countries in the world. Recently, in 2023, Alidya has passed all the requirements by the new EU regulation to revalidate its classification for another 10 years

According to the Nürnberger-Müller classification, which is still the most commonly used one, Alidya is very effective against Cellulite grades 1 and 2. For more advanced forms of the disease, more aggressive treatments are preferred, to downgrade the cellulite, prior to use Alidya.

Alidya was launched in Italy for the first time in October 2013, and from there, it expanded quickly to other mediterranean countries, such as Spain and France.

Mesotherapy cocktails have been used to treat cellulite for decades, but there were not specific nor standardised formulations and therefore, results were not reproducible. In January 2023, another brand was launched with a similar formulation, but without the accumulated experience of 10 years that Alidya has .

Alidya was the first medical device specifically developed by Pasquale Motolese to treat cellulite. The key thing is it targets the underlying causes of cellulite, by balancing the extracellular matrix of the hypodermis, which in turn will help to achieve a smoother skin .

Although each country has its own regulations in place, being Alidya a Medical device means it is meant to be used by medical professionals. As it is not a prescription drug, you don’t need to be a prescriber - assuming that’s a thing in your country of residency - to use Alidya.
